Why we chose this cover

For Cassandra’s first omnibus, we wanted a cover rooted in the stories readers fell in love with.

Damion Scott and Robert Campanella’s artwork from Batgirl #1 captures Cassandra in motion above Gotham, her cape and grappling line sweeping across the skyline. Paired with the bold yellow Batgirl masthead, it carries the energy and unmistakable identity of her original series.

Bringing that image to this edition celebrates both the character and the creators who helped define her. For longtime fans, it’s a return to the beginning. For new readers, it’s an invitation to discover why Cassandra means so much to so many.
